My Husband Has Awful Smelling Burps, Like Rotten Meat, He

My husband has awful smelling burps, like rotten meat, he was tested for a parasite it was negative. no one seems to know how to treat it. he gets really bad acid that burns his throat also. He has trouble going to the bathroom only goes once or twice a week. Is there a connection?
