My Husband Has Been Breaking Out In Sweats, Then Gets

My husband has been breaking out in sweats, then gets chills. We found out he was allergic to morphine in August and they took him off. Then he was put on methadone. He continued to get the sweats and chills. He sleeps alot and doesn't eat. he is diabetic and has arthritis, Any ideas?
