My Husband Has Been Diagnosed 2 Weeks Ago With Iron

My husband has been diagnosed 2 weeks ago with iron deficiency anemia by our doctor. He has been prescribed iron pills 3x daily and to eat rich foods and rest until well enough to go back to work which he will tmrw. My question is, in 2 weeks we are scheduled to travel, is it safe for him to fly from Hawaii to LA Vegas (5 1/2 hour flight) for 4 days?
