My Husband Has Been Diagnosed With Rectal Cancer That Has

My husband has been diagnosed with rectal cancer that has matastesized to his liver and lungs. Rectal tumor, one liver tumor has been removed and we are ready to have the reoccurrence liver tumor removed. His platelet level are low and he is anemic but it is not iron related. His folic acid levels and vitamin b levels are great. What can we do to give him more energy and to help,him stay awake?
