My Husband Has Been Having Spells Where He Starts To

My husband has been having spells where he starts to sweat, it’s like someone pours a bucket of water over his head, he gets real dizzy, he says it makes him feel like he’s drunk, he gets sick to his stomach & vomits right after this happens. I have tried to take him to the ER, he had one of theses spells in front of his co workers last week & they were going to call an ambulance, but he wouldn’t let them. It scared them pretty bad. He needs to be seen by a physician. He just had another one a few minutes ago. What could be wrong with him?
