My Husband Has Been Hospitalized With Pulmonary Edema In The

My husband has been hospitalized with pulmonary edema in the past. He feels as though he's coming down with pneumonia again. Is there anything that we can do to mitigate the possibility of an infection in his lungs? He's a 46 YO in relatively good health otherwise.
