My Husband Has Been On Pramipexole For Several Months Prescribed

My husband has been on Pramipexole for several months prescribed by his neurologist. He has been diagnosed with Parkinsons. Several months ago he developed a pain on the top of his right leg. We thought it was related to another problem but his cardiologist assured us that that problem was not the cause of the leg pain. Instead, he thought it was a muscle issue. So, we took him to a physical therapist and she said his thigh and calve muscles were too tight so she gave him exercises to do. In the meantime, his neurologist increased his dosage of Pramipexole. He has been on that dosage for about 2 weeks now and the pain in his right leg has increased markedly. Can Pramipexole cause muscle pain? Thank you.
