My Husband Has Been Prescribed Regranix Gel For A Wound

My husband has been prescribed Regranix gel for a wound on his right second toe. He is on IV antibiotics for osteomyelitis in the toe. My question is after I wrap the wound with saline soaked gauze should I put some tape to keep the gauze in place and can I put a sock on his foot
