My Husband Has Been Running A Fever 100-101 Since Wed

My husband has been running a fever 100-101 since Wed p.m., severe headache only other symptom. Was seen by Dr. today. Aneurysm was ruled out, Neck is supple so meningitis has been ruled out. Blood work done for Lyme, Rocky Mtn. Spotted Fever. Liver enzymes highly elevated. ALP 281, ALT 667 and AST 1133. His said his headache pain is a 5. Neck is slightly stiff turning left and right. No other symptoms. Dr. prescribed Doxycycline 100 mg., Hydrocodon 7.5-325 and Aspirin. bp was 168/90. I'm wondering if he should be in the hospital?
