My Husband Has Been Running A High White Count Prior

My husband has been running a high white count prior to a total knee replacement. He is not ill en any other way and it came down to( I think about ten thousand prior to his surgery. His nose culture was mrsa pos. priorto surgery so was tx with nose antib. First time for mrsa.
Surgery went well and he is approx. 4 wks post of. had another white count at our request and it was close to 12000. The only other things I notice from his is that he seems to be pale at times only and he is cold much of the time, like wearing his coat outside when it is is 70 degrees. two first cousins, both deceased with CLL, brother with a rare leukemia, grandmother with leukemia. Any thoughts? thank you.
