My Husband Has Been Taking 80mg Of Mycardis/day, 20 Mg

My husband has been taking 80mg of mycardis/day, 20 mg of crestor/day, and 75 mg of Plavix/day since 2010. This followed a stent being place din his heart in July 2010. At that time he weighed approximately 220 pounds. His height is 5'7", and he is currently 68 years old. In 2013 he had to have another 2 stents inserted. By November 2014 he had become approximately 235 pounds and decided he needed to change his eating habits, as he was significantly overweight. He began and continues to follow a healthier eating plan. By May 2015 he was down to 180 pounds and retains this level of weight. Hi diet includes much less red meat, increased deep green and other root vegetables, nuts, grains, fish and much less of anything that contains sugar or sugar substitutes. Before Christmas he tripped and fell. His left leg was bruised, but he had no discernible pain. In early January 2016 he began to have pain in his knee, which he had hit on the fall. He went for x-rays and nothing showed to be a problem. Then the pains began to go to other places - ankle, hand, and other "joints" as he explains it. He also gets chilled very easily and on a daily basis. The pain was so difficult that the doctor prescribed 25 mg/day of prednisone for a couple of weeks. They also did four blood tests to determine if he had rheumatoid arthritis. Each test was negative, although two of the tests showed that he had elevated levels of "something" (don't have those results at hand). The doctor said that the blood tests often show a negative to rheumatoid arthritis, however, the individual could still have rheumatoid arthritis. Thus, they are now trying to refer him to a rheumatoid arthritis specialist. With respect to the prednisone he continues to take it, although he has been able to decrease the dosage to 10 mg/day. Today he went to his heart specialist for his annual check-up, and I thought that they would either stop the micardis and crestor, or reduce the dosage. The reason - his cholesterol levels are well within normal and have been for almost two years, and his blood pressure is actually low - typically 105 to 110 over 65 to 70 and with a heart rate that averages 60 or less. The doctor only removed the Plavex that he was taking and kept the same dosage amounts of the crestor and micardis. My question is simply whether these various joint pains could be a reaction to the level of dosages of the micardis and crestor given his weight loss. Thank you
