My Husband Has Copd Is On Oxygen 24 Hours 3

My husband has copd is on oxygen 24 hours 3 liters He has 2 stints he has recently began to gain weight ,is fatigued ,cant sleep and has pain in lower back and hip. What could be causing this? he weighs 245 had his weight down to 235 but has gained it back in the last two months
