My Husband Has Had Bronchitis In The Past Throughout The

My husband has had bronchitis in the past throughout the winter months. However this year he has definitely been worse. He has a terrible steady hard cough, this morning he said "I feel like I am drowning". He is on 2 puffers and recently been given an antibiotic from a clinic. He doesn't seem to be getting better. He has NEVER smoked. He did work for 25 years in a factory setting, in a pattern shop where they were constantly with very fine wood dust. Could he now be development chronic bronchitis or maybe this has lead to something further. What test, etc. should he ask a doctor at the after hours clinic to have done. Thank you Charlotte Cameron
