My Husband Has Had Pain In His Back, Mainly Under

My husband has had pain in his back, mainly under his right shoulder blade, this has gotten better, but the pain has moved more to the front now, it hurts when he swallows, he said it feels like he has trapped air. Feels like when you take a drink of soda and it hurts really bad to swallow sometimes. He is also having trouble saying his "H's", don't know if that has anything to do with all of this. He has taken Prilosec for years for ulcers.
