My Husband Has Kidney Cancer , (right Kidney Removed In

My husband has kidney Cancer , (right kidney removed in January 2015) cancer has metastised to lung. Sutent 50mg daily. At first, approx 1 hour after taking medication he would urinate and pass small blood clot. Urine was clear for remainder of day. This morning, he is urinating blood then it clears at end of stream. No pain or discomfort. Is this something I should be concerned about? Please advise.
