My Husband Has Lower Left Side Pain, More Towards The

My husband has lower left side pain, more towards the intestinal area. He has spasms strong enough sometimes to double him over. He has tried eating certain foods to calm it down and thought that yogurt helped but no longer helps. He has seen several doctors and he refuses to be a ginny pig with prescription drugs until they know what the problem is. This latest doctor has him taking Miralax to help with a blockage they see in his xray. They said something about constipation. He is in no way constipated he has diarreha most of the time. Can you help.
