My Husband Has Parosmia Which I Suspect Really Is Phantosmia.

My husband has parosmia which I suspect really is phantosmia. Approx. 4 wks. ago, he complained that his clothing smelled - washed and rinsed twice. Then it was the dryer sheets - they are currently on the front porch in plastic. All potpourri, plugins, etc., etc., removed from house. It is mid-winter in our area and presently all windows and outside doors are open and he is running around in a jacket and gloves. EVERYTHING smells to him - the car even smells. His primary care doesn't seem to have an answer. Help!
