My Husband Has Prostate Cancer That Has Spread To His

My husband has prostate cancer that has spread to his ones. Lately he has had back pain and depression/anixiety. His doctors prescribed Hydrocodone-acetaminophen 5-325 for the pain and generic xanax for the depression/aniety. Since taking the medicine, he has wanted to sleep all the time. His thinking is foggy and this morning the bed was soaked form his sweat. I have reduced the dosage to one half Xanax and one half hyrocodone, which has seemed to give a little improvement. Any other advice? They are taken four hours apart to reduce interaction.
