My Husband Has Several Choking Episodes A Day, Whether It

My husband has several choking episodes a day, whether it is food or liquid. Within the last two weeks he has gotten choked to the point of losing consciousness, which last just for a few seconds. The first episode of choking he had resulted in a seizure and then passing out. The second episode happened in a restaurant this afternoon.He does have a doctor's appointment next week. We will detail all of this to the doctor but I am anxious. What are we looking at here.
