My Husband Is 2 Weeks Post Knee Replacement And 1

My husband is 2 weeks post knee replacement and 1 week post discharge from read mission in 48 hours. Developed c-diff in hospital. Has intense "bone itching " in fingers of both hands and ankle of knee side. Has taken Benadryl no help. Hydrocortisone no help. Any suggestions?
