My husband is 67 years old and has been a diabetic type 1 for over 35 years. In the last year he had his right foot amputated due to infection which he has adjusted to fine however, his health has still struggled with infections, nausea and vomiting, he has gotten to the point where he eats and sleeps. His labs come back ok which is not giving us a direction as to help improve his health. His blood sugars have been very difficult to maintain he presently used Humalin R and Lantise. He was just in the hospital two weeks ago due to elevated WBC and nausea and vomiting. He was given IV antibiotics however they could not locate where the infection was coming from. Where do we go from here how I can I help him to have a better quality of life. Thank you, Jennifer Groce
