My Husband Is 74, With Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, Kidney Damage,

My husband is 74, with Parkinson's Disease, dementia, kidney damage, low testosterone and other problems.
He fell and broke his left rib 6 weeks ago. Since then he also had pneumonia. He starting complaining about his left breast being itchy and hurting about a month ago. I thought it was related pain from the broken rib. I finally looked at his breast and was shocked to feel a hard knot under the breast tissue and his aereola is puffy and pale. He had an ultra sound done this afternoon and I watched. The tech kept taking pictures of an large dark area among the white area of the breast. In the center of that was a black circle (aereola) with a white dot (nippple). ?? Can this be cancer?
