My Husband Is 75, Has Peripheral Artery Disease, Also Has

My husband is 75, has peripheral artery disease, also has blockages, but can't have surgery
because he is too great a health risk. Has had a lot of pain in his feet and legs from this the past two years. now he is experiencing chills the past day or two and weakness in breathing. Is this from poor circulation and also a result of this artery disease? He's not sick with the flu or anything that would bring on the chills...just heart disease that has gotten worse in his arteries. What should I do? take him back to the doctor?
