My Husband Is A 49 Yo Male Having Watery Diarrhea

My husband is a 49 yo male having watery diarrhea for three weeks now. Diminished appetite. Bloating. Low grade fever today. Spontaneous Right sided hip pain "like a pulled muscle". Saw PCP this past thursday. Has "urgent" consult with GI doc tomorrow per her rec. no foreign travel or camping. Lots of air travel around sw us for work, cities. with the onset of fever today should we go to ER for immediate imaging and bloodwork? We expect thatis what GI doc will write for anyway, plus probably a scope. Turning in fecal samples to pcp tomorrow too.
