My Husband Is A Alcoholic. When He Wakes Up In

My husband is a alcoholic. When he wakes up in the morning he coughs and gags on and off for about 20 minutes. Sounds terrible. Sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night doing it. I've noticed blood specs on the mirror. He says it's from nose bleed. Unfortunately he doesn't think he's a alcoholic therefore getting help is out of the question. Is this related to drinking?
