Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is almost 81 years old. He has had some problems getting his b/p regulated. He takes 5mg of amlodipine once a day, prazosin 5mg twice a day, and started taking hydralazine 25mg. 2 tablets twice a day in the past year and recently was increased to 2 tablets 3 times a day. I'm not sure if all this is agreeing with him. He also takes atorvastatin 10 mg at bedtime, metformin er 500mg in the morning and 1000mg. with supper. clopidogrel 75mg. once a day. Seems to me that's a lot for him and I've been trying to get him to see a cardiologist for a second opinion. What do you think?
