My Husband Is Being Treated For Bursitis Of The Hip.

My husband is being treated for bursitis of the hip. Had injection last week and pretty much pain free (after 1 year of pain, found the right doctor and answer). He has been icing it a few times a day. Should he now switch to heat or just discontinue the ice? Thank you, Janet
