My Husband Is Belching Rotten Egg Taste. Thinks Mild Food

My husband is belching rotten egg taste. Thinks mild food poisoning from salami he put on his breakfast sandwich this morning at 6am and started belching and stomach cramps. No vomiting or diarrhea. It is 630pm now. What can I give him to eat or drink? I know to not give anti diarrhea meds.
