My Husband Is Complaining Of An Aching In His Chest

My husband is complaining of an aching in his chest below his sternum. He has been having trouble with gastric reflux for the past week. He thinks the aching is a result of all the reflux he has been experiencing lately. He is 58 and healthy except for the reflux and has seen a MD in the past because of it. I'd like to take him in. What do you think. He says it is just aching not chest pain and won't go.
