My Husband Is Feeling Lightheaded, I Believe From New Rx

My husband is feeling lightheaded, I believe from new Rx Carvedilol recently prescribed. It’s one of the side effects I read about. Am 67 years old, getting shoulder surgery on Thursday and am otherwise is decent health. Dosage is 6.25 mg twice a day. It’s Labor Day so no one at doctor’s office. Please advise next steps
