My Husband Is Functioning On 20% Of One Lung And

My husband is functioning on 20% of one lung and 40% of the other lung. Right now he is on 40mg predisone and it is not helping him breath any better. He is 84 and they will not give him a lung transplant even though he is fine every other part of his body. Any suggestions as to what other options we have. He takes Advair 500/50 and puffers and does neublizer , please help. Thank you
