My Husband Is Having Fever For Last 18 Days. Earlier

My husband is having fever for last 18 days. Earlier for 5 days viral fever medicine was given. After test our doctor diagnosed and said its typhoid. For last 15 days he is taking medicine for typhoid. Earlier he was having 102 fever. Now fever is reduced. In the morning it is normal but during the day it reaches 100. is it normal. He is taking CEFTAS. Our doctor has suggested normal diet. Should we take special precautions.
