My Husband Is Having Intense Left Shoulder Pain For @

My husband is having intense left shoulder pain for @ 6 days. He is trying 800 MG ibuprofen and muscle relaxers as directed and it is hardly relieving his pain. He saw a chiropractor twice this week. X-rays done show nothing. They have not helped relieve pain. We think it may be a pinched nerve but he is not having any numbness, only pain and muscle weakness. We don't know what to do next.
