My Husband Is Having Some Pain In Right Forearm. He

My husband is having some pain in right forearm. He said that his little finger and ring finger on that same arm are feeling a big numb. He was working outside pulling weeds yesterday and that's when he first started to feel the pain and the numbness in his fingers started this morning. His blood pressure is 169/80. He is 68. We are not sure if this could just be soreness from using muscles while working in the garden or if something else is happening.
The pain is moderate.
