My Husband Is In End Stage Of Emphesama, Is Under

My husband is in end stage of emphesama, is under Hospice care, but I don't have a chance to ask questions w/o him hearing. He is very intelligent and still usually alert. His heart is strong, but he is now coughing up blood and unable to get out of his hospital bed. They are giving hydromorphone as well as medicated nebulizer treatments, plus others. His appetite is gone, says his mouth is sore and he has several skin soreness. What is happening? Thank you! YYYY@YYYY
