My Husband Is In Excruciating Pain From His Cancer That

My husband is in excruciating pain from his cancer that has metastasis to his shoulder. He is currently not on any chemo but has recently has radiation treatments to is shoulder, Do you have any suggestions for pain?
The pain meds from the oncologist don't seem to work very well.
