My Husband Is In Final Stages Of Kidney Failure. Is

My husband is in final stages of kidney failure. Is kidney function is at 10%. They are recommended dialysis and kidney transplant. When the were wheeling him in to surgery to place port in abdominal the doctor mentioned his heart is pumping at 25% only. We are in hospital but have not seen cardi doc. Surgeon Alison mentioned leaking valves so I can only assume they have seen the echocardiogram results. Will this prevent him from being on the transplant list? And what is the life expectancy based on this info.
