My Husband Is Recovering From Discitis Diagnosed 11 Weeks Ago.

My husband is recovering from discitis diagnosed 11 weeks ago. His blood test results recently taken are good he is no longer taking any medication not experiencing back pain plus he continues to wear a chest brace as advised for at least a further 5 weeks. He does however on occasions have an achy back (his discription) now that he getting back to normal activity. Is this usual
