My Husband Is Recovering From Surgery, But He Had A

My husband is recovering from surgery, but he had a very bad staff infection that meant the operation had to be repeated and the staff cleaned out of his spinal column. His feet have started to swell. I read that one of his medications can have this side effect. Is he ok? He's alert. He's using his walker. He can sit up and eat and drink.
