My Husband Is Type 2 Diabetic And Only Uses Long

My husband is type 2 diabetic and only uses long acting insulin every evening. He got sick about a month ago and is still having problems with energy and breathing, He doesn't have much appetite either. He just started having panic like attacks with re-flux and has to sit up at night to even breath. My one son is a physician in urgent care and one other son is a dialysis nurse. They say it sounds like he may be having symptoms of CHF
