My Husband Just Had A Failed Swallowing Eval. Due To

My husband just had a failed swallowing eval. due to the epiglottis not moving enough to prevent aspiration of small amounts of fluids and food. He had passed a similar eval 2months ago after using thickened liquids and exercises to restore normal swallowing function. What happened to his epiglottis and what can be done?
