My Husband Just Had About Half A Teaspoon Of Bright

My husband just had about half a teaspoon of bright red blood come from his urethra immediately after intercourse. He also reported penile pain and left sided groin pain at the time. What are the possible causes and what, if anything, does he need to do now?
