My Husband Just Had Cataract Surgery, And The Doctor Said

My husband just had cataract surgery, and the doctor said when transplanting the Acrysof SN60WF lense one of the legs was stuck and folded over. They took that part of the leg off. What can be any side effects from this missing portion of the sense leg? She said this had never happened before???
