My Husband Just Started Lyrica And Cannot Stay Awake It

My husband just started lyrica and cannot stay awake it is frustrating him. He has had 2 traumatic brain injuries and has head pain all the time . He has been on 28 medications they work for a while then stop . Is there something similar to lyrica with the same pain control but non Drowesy ?
