My Husband Just Went To The Bathroom And The Toilet

My husband just went to the bathroom and the toilet was filled with blood. Red blood. He says this has happened a few times before in the last couple months, but never like this. He only noticed this on the tissue paper before. He just ruined 50 in October, has had a recent physical and everything was good. He does take medication for high blood pressure, but that's all. I feel like this requires medical attention very soon.
