My Husband Leg Has Been Swollen To The Size Of

My husband leg has been swollen to the size of 42in. We did go to hospital sent us home. He does have a Superpubic tube that was change . Then not as much fluid was coming out. Rushed back to hospital . Found he had 4 blood clots. However he can't walk n the water weight is piling on. They are giving him shots on stomach n warifin. How long does it take to get this swollen leg n parts of body down with all this fluid ?
