My Husband Rather Suddenly Came Down With Moderate Pain In

My husband rather suddenly came down with moderate pain in gut accompanied by nausea. Feels hot but doesn't seem to run a temperature. Feels like gas or other like ailment. He is pretty miserable. Is there anything he can do for immediate relief? Is it a emergency? We have tickets to a Bruce Springsteen and he hates to miss it. Don't want to ignore an emergency situation either. He is 58.
