My Husband Returned To Home Care After 2 Months In

My husband returned to home care after 2 months in hospital & rehab. In hospital he was given antibiotics for pneumonia and developed C-Diff which seemed to clear up then returned with a vengeance. He is still having very bad spells of diarrhea, but care in rehab was so poor with a filthy room that I brought him home and hired an agency to come in to help. I have done private nursing care for over 60 years. Today he had a very bad spell of diarrhea with chills, shaking, so dressed him warmly in sweats after a good cleaning and is now in bed. His father had colon cancer and he has had a colon resection in 1989 due to a perforated colon from diverticulitis. Severe brain injury 2001, subarachnoid hemorrhage , 3 brain hematomas , etc. and survived to go to rehab. Was doing well until last few years and is now almost completely blind, has 2 strokes, several TIAs, COPD, A Fib, Diabetes 2. Is there anything else I can do?? Feel so helpless to see him declining like this.
