My Husband Started Last Night With A Neck Tension On

My husband started last night with a neck tension on the right side, like a pinched nerve. He's had no recent injury or trauma. Also, he said last week that the right jaw hurt but isn't anymore. should we be concerned?? He just decribes it as nagging
