My Husband Started Out With A Few Tiny Blisters On

My husband started out with a few tiny blisters on his hand around the thumb area on Sunday. Developed a few more on same hand, and now they are on tops of both feet (100s) and starting to spread up his leg. He visited a clinic today and they brushed him off saying it appeared to be ant bites. It does look like ant bites, but no way.
